RAJASTHAN AYURVEDA UNIVERSITY – Pramod Jain & Associates

Spread out in an area of 400 acre campus. Ayurved University was proposed in 2003 in Jodhpur. We were awarded 1^st prize of rupees one lac in a national design competition.
Ayurveda is simple practical science of life. The buildings constructed reflects the concepts of these medical sciences which are animated from the various open courtyards created within the individuals blocks .Plan is adopted not only for vastu consideration but also for the hot climate of the region.
Design of campus is therefore an attempt to create an environment for developing and practicing the ancient Indian science of medicine of various discipline.
All the buildings in the campus are cladded with local Jodhpur stone of soor sagar queries. It’s a blend of contemporary architecture with modern facilities in an introvert courtyard plan.
Initially the project was estimated at Rs.100 crores but due to scares rescorses and scantly grants the project took long time in construction. Various buildings are executed as when funds were received. Major construction activities is now over and in all about 75 crores have been so far spent on the project.
